It has been a couple
years in the making and LOTS of research to come up with the right
combination, but in June of 2001, I found my dream and collector's
car. I thank my wife, Shannon, who helped make it all
happen.
My goal of 500 horsepower
has been reached! Click on mods & options to the
left.
This car sits in my garage and
under an SLP car cover and sees about 100 miles a
year.
For you enthusiasts, here are the details...
The car starts at the Quebec plant as a Chevrolet Camaro Z28. The
first package added is the Super Sport package, a $3950 option. Then
it is off to SLP
Engineering (Street Legal Performance) for the custom extras
which adds another $4161, then back to the Chevrolet plant for its
last touches and shipment to the local Chevrolet dealer. My SS ends
up being only 1 of 14 factory built this way.
